KIM PARKHILL trained with Neptune Theatre’s Pre-Professional Training Company and Actors’ Nest (conservatory), and intensives with Actors’ Boot Camp (Halifax), IUGTE (Latvia) and SITI Company (New York) as well as numerous workshops and master classes, with a principal interest in physical theatre and devising.. She has worked as a performer, creator, playwright, producer, project coordinator, publicist, stage manager, and mentor/instructor and has toured productions through the Maritimes and to Germany. Selected performance credits include Bitter Rose (Matchstick); King of Berlin (Doppler Effect); Marion Bridge (TNB); The National Theatre Project (Theatre Yes); A Tribe of One (Doppler Effect); Hedda Gabler (Head First); Julius Caesar, 13 Ways of Looking at a Madman (DaPoPo Theatre); Liars (Neptune Theatre Touring Co.). She has several short plays and two full-length plays to her credit and was co-creator/contributing writer for seven of DaPoPo Theatre’s collectively devised works.
